Include your total water volume, and generalized info on fish types and size, and types of coral you keep. Very curious to see how others have their systems stocked!

I have a 180 display and 300 gallons total, not many fish but would like to know what the going rate is for a 180 display.

300 gallons total volume & 250 gallon display. I have 26 fish including 5 tangs & several wrasses, angels and misc. etc.

It depends exactly on the size, and temperament and other factors that go into exactly how many fish you are able to get.
I'd say anywhere from 15-20

180g display, 300g total.

in display-
8 lyretail anthias
3 adult tangs (chevron , purple, power blue)
1 adult regal angel
matted filefish
midas blenny
2 reef chromis
2 red cardinal
*had 6 more chroimis but something had the tic tac sized guys for lunch
*had 1 copperband butterfly but vortech ate him for lunch after 2 years

in frag tank-
2 yellow tangs
1 bicolor blenny

in 2nd frag tank-
1 tang
1 blenny
1 dragonette

All sps/ lps / clams. No issue with anyone nipping

I wish more people were responding to this thread. I'm still working on stocking my 120 and curious what other people have.

Right now I have 5 wrasse (2 still in QT), 1 kole tang, 2 percula clowns, and a mandarin.

I also have a regal angel in my 40g "reef" QT who (as far as I know) hasn't eaten in 9 days...so not sure she will make it to the main tank :/

I was thinking I would be done after the regal or one more "big" fish if the regal doesn't pull through. But, I've also tossed around the idea of a few nice anthias. I feed 3-5 times a day as it is.

Id get another tang and anthias. just make sure youre skimming well
