My first LED was an Ecoxotic 48" Panorama Marine LED Light Fixture. $309.00 before CA Tax. (40 LEDs) I really liked this fixture. Then I saw the Build My LED fixtures at Marine EXPO in Orange County, CA. I now have both the Ecoxotic fixture and a Build My LED fixture on my 55 gallon.

The Build My LED fixture is being run at 55% and to my eyes is brighter and producing better color. Other differences between the two LED fixtures are the Build My LED is compatible with my APEX controller and the intensity can ramp up and down between 30% to 100%. While the Ecoxotic fixture can only be dimmed using inline rotary controls. With the Ecoxotic LEDs you can adjust the blue and white LEDS seperately while with the Build My LED fixture all LEDS are adjusted at the same time.

Build My LED, LLC

Custom Reef Spectrum: Fixture Length: 48" (60 LEDs) , Beam Angle: Wide - 90 Degree,

With an Apex Dimming Cable the price was $312.56 shipped to California.

The led portion of my lighting was $179 USD. Dimmable Reef Breeder. I got it after they added the new colors. My friend has the older version that is only white and blue and paid the same I think. I use it on my 90 with a 150w halide "accent"
