easiest way is following: 2" sand, live rock. add as many corals and macroalgaes as you can afford. add 1 fish per 50 gallons to start the cycle (any tank less than 50 gal just gets 1 fish) add the macro and coral and fish as soon as the water clears.
It’s a 60x60x26 tank.

I know I'm super late to this but I have a 30 reef with about 20 coral (all softies and lps) and 4 fish. Could I add all the live rock, coral, and fish into my new 150 reef system the day I add saltwater or would that not work? also, could I use filter media from a freshwater tank to seed saltwater filter media to speed up a cycle?

Plenty of good mature live rock in a new tank and I have added fish anemones jumped the cycle got a little of the ugly stage but not much and everything thrived no losses imo the live rock saved the day it costs too much but really worth every penny when setting up a reef . I’ve never used dry rock in any of my tanks
