Attached is the only place i can attach a fan to. I have been using a clip on common type fan. But Id prefer a low profile so its not so obtrusive. Is there any such fan that can clip on to the bracket (the vertical part of the bracket)?

I dont see how I can attach that to my vertical oriented might mount/pole. It woudl blow vertically which woulddnt do much. I'd need the 'clamp' to be vertical but still the fan to blow horizontal. I was looking at that exact fan too.

Then use a laptop fan
I think I need to see how those fans blow . I guess from what you say and what makes sense is that it lies horizonatal and the air blows out horizontally, so it sets 'square side' up and down. hmmmm..
