I am wanting to add lighting to my tank. The tank is a 180 gallon planet aquariums 72”x24”x24” and has 2 braces. I have reefbreeders photon v2s now. A 48” and a 24” end to end. The photons are hanging 18” high off the water and I love them. The problem I feel like is most of my colors and growth are towards the center of the tank while the viewing side that I’m looking at is receiving less light.

I’ve thought about strip lights like reefbrights or Orphic and maybe even something like AI blades. But with the braces across the top, I was concerned about a long blade that sat low to the top of the tank. I thought maybe 3 that fit in between the braces would work.

Thoughts?

These pics are from the front viewing side. The shading is what I’d like to fix.

This is a view from the side end of the tank. You can see some growth on the garf bonsai but it’s not visible when looking from the front of the tank.
