Hygger heater is rusting after only 2 months. Recommend actions?

I am sure you can contact the company and try to get a refund/replacement. For the cost of a heater though, I would probably just pull it and replace with a different brand.

Are you sure it's rust? Have you pulled the heater to inspect it?

Almost looks like cyano to me.
