I like those fat green zoas, were they always fat like that or did they start of small like the other ones in the pics?Mandarins currently
My zoa garden start
Some random orange skirts I started as 6 polyps in about 6 months time.
Pretty sweet zoa collection they are growing in together real nice looks really cool especially all the different colorsThey randomly pop up around my tank. Have 2 other colonies forming out of nowhere
Good tips, Thank youI've never seen zoas directly eat. Bigger palys usually take in food like powdered or Mysis shrimp. You can add regularly amino acids like Fuel by Seachem. Helped me in my biocube to grow zoas and palys like crazy but usually just stable water parameters will grow them just fine. Also good water movement is key for them to have nice long skirts and good polyps extension. Algae tends to grow on them and closes them up so indirect, low medium flow is good
