Now I think I got my IDs mixed up.

Its been awhile but it was 1:1 with this photo I found online, tiny black dots, smooth texture, no distinct black tips, etc.

That's a Fromia milleporella... different diet

Def a Linckia - have some pics on my phone from the whole tank, can do a closer one later though.

My kids nicknamed it 'Godzilla', gets itself into all sorts of weird shapes sometimes!

The internet claims that orange are easier to keep than blue. Any truth to that?

I have an orange from a great source. Im optimistic.

I don't think that's a different species...therefore almost certainly not "easier".

So thought i would update this thread, as i discovered something that my Blue Linckia eats!
My clownfish spawned again, and laid a tonne of eggs under their hosted coral on the rock.
Next day, my Blue Linckia was sitting straight over the top of them, and didnt move for 3 days...no eggs remaining!
It appears they have a taste for Caviar!
