SCIENTIFIC NAME - Apolemichthys Xanthurus

COMMON NAME - Indian Yellowtail Angelfish

SIZE - 7.9" (20 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 75 US Gal (284 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet, meaty foods, marine algae, occasionally frozen sponge containing Angel food preparation.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - May nip sessile invertebrates, stony and soft corals, clam mantles.

CAPTIVE CARE - Readily adjusts to aquarium life. Sponges for a large portion of its natural diet, but, it can be switched to other foods, only one per tank, very active not suitable for a peaceful community tank, can be aggressive to related forms of fishes introduced after it is settled in and should be the last fish added.
