I've been struggling with dino for the last six months. Now there is still brown scurf on some of the subgrowths. To me it looks like diatoms in the form of sticks (just want to hear confirmation).

Just got over a Dino infestation. Raised nitrate and phosphate and now I think it’s diatom? Looks very different from Dino. Now there are bubbles forming under the sand? Is this a sign of more life LOL ?

It’s also not on the rocks just the glass and sand and it comes off like a powder almost.

Yep, lot's of people say that not stinky bubbles under the sand are a good sign. I got it not far time ago as my tank got better from dino. I think you can siphon sand through sock sometimes to suck it of and from the sand. I do it too when I'm not lazy)
