Is liverock or Marinepure bio-media ok for QT running chloroquine phosphate?

I've heard you shouldn't use any live rock or bio-media when running a quarantine tank with copper because it can absorb it... but i wonder, @Humblefish, can i have live rock or bio-media media in the quarantine tank if I'm using chloroquine phosphate? Thanks as always!

I would avoid it, as those who have tried using CP in their DT often fail. I don't know if the problem is rock absorbing the CP, thus dropping it below therapeutic levels (like it does with copper). Or heterotrophic bacteria bio-degrading CP (like it can do with other medications). Probably a combination of both...
