Hi, I've had a powder brown in a QT for a week now. He is eating and swimming around no problem. But over the last few days, the area around his gills has been getting a bit more red. I'm not sure if I need to be worried. Do I? Thoughts? #fishadvice

Usually quarantine tanks don't contain rocks or sand, as they can absorb meds and make dosage nearly impossible. What method are you using for quarantine?

Sorry. I should have mentioned that I'm just doing a watch quarantine vs. a medicated one.....
