So awesome! Cant wait to follow along...
Curious question want to shoot on this thread as well... my DT is barebottom can I still keep a yasha goby? good rock work for some hiding spots. Just do not know if with no sand they will go "crazy"...?
Absolutely!!!!Good to know thanks! Also, going to try and raise the fry out?
When the fry are raised up I want one for the Lagoon!Absolutely!!!!
You got it!When the fry are raised up I want one for the Lagoon!
Holding you to it! Be so happy to have one, add to my interesting stocking list! You got it!
I think she just laid the eggs today. I can’t find them though, they are probably in their den with the pistol shrimp. Couldn’t catch her to try and out her in a quarantine tank, so seeing how it goes this way. Fingers crossed!!how'd it go? did the eggs hatch???
That is exactly what is happening!! Wish I could see the eggs, but guess I will have to wait and hopefully see some babies here in the future! They lay the eggs in their burrow and the male watches them. The best indicator for the presence of eggs is that the male is not coming out of the burrow (with the possible exception during feedings).
So if the female is out for most of the day while the male is nowhere to be found he is likely sitting in the cave fanning the eggs.
