Is this cyanobacteria? Also, how do I get rid of it? I’m going through the ugly phase, but I’m assumming I actually have to do something when it comes to cyano. I can’t ciphon it. It cakey and clumps on the substrate.

My tank is 2.5 months old dry rock/live substrate cycled.

Phosphates .03
Nitrates 5ppm
Ammonia 0ppm
Pump flow 16x
Lighting AI prime 12 inches above 12x12 cube.

Thanks. WIll it go away? I thought cyano was a different thing separate from the typical ugly phase.

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
