Just started cycling a new tank with live rock, wondering is this good stuff or bad stuff?

Kinda blurry, any chance of another picture? If its coming out blurry from moving around in the current, try turning off your powerhead to snap a pic

how long have you been cycling the tank. whats your params. looks like the film that grows over something dead in your tank. is this the only piece or does it cover your whole tank? what are you using to cycle your tank.

Doesn't look like something I'd want in my tank. I'd siphon it out and see if it reappears.

Either that or some kind of algae that died. Definitely doesnt look normal thats for sure.
