I got stratosphere zoas from a friend. At the beginning, it looks like in the pic 1. Then I increase my lighting, and now it looks like in pic 2. I noticed that the gold ring is much thicker than before. Is this normal? Thank you in advance!

When lighting intensity or spectrum changes, there can be some color shifting or color morphing in some corals. Zoas are one of the more common that shift I believe.
