Hi, everyone...been a member here since 2016 and I think I have 3 posts..lol. Got out of the hobby back in early 2019, moved to a new home late 2019 and inherited a 55 gallon in-wall freshwater tank. Been keeping the inhabitants alive. but the glo fish just aren't cutting it anymore.
The attached pic was just taken and the blue tape is the outline of my proposed build, 72" x 48" x 24". Will be a built-in with 3 sides visible, the back wall will have my weir going to an external overflow. Right now I'm trying to nail down a tank builder who can do a weir with the glass notched out on the tank wall itself. I'm also considering building the tank myself, but my local glass companies are not responsive. The tank will fit down my stairs, but it will not be fun.
This will be a FOWLR to start, but corals will follow. Will post updates as major progress/decisions are made.
