Why not just rough up your current screen? What is everyone thinking about the roughness of the screen? I'm thinking of going to joanns and getting a new plastic canvas and roughing it up with a hole saw. mine's pretty smooth.
Depending on the size of the spray bar, turbo aquatic makes a great cover for it that will help prevent growth there, which is very helpful because that messes up the flow
It's just black pvc with a slot in it? Might try and make one
Reach out to Bud... I believe he still has some of these...

You can also DIY a light blocker using PVC pipe. I built one for my Rain 2 ATS before I scored my Turbo’s ATS.
I put in a new roughed up screen and weaved in some turf algae from the old fuge wall. With the roughed up screen I can run the pump 100% (mj1200) and it flows down the screen much better. The smooth screen just didn't catch all the water from the spray bar but now it's perfect.Do you have more GHA or turf? You have to thread it through the screen like you're sowing.

Glad to see my waterfall design from 2008 still getting good use. If I can help anyone let me know; all problems have been solved years ago.
