Hi! Thank you very much for your kind words!

@drawman I have always been running the XR15W, but i had some problem in the beginning of my journey. It looked like horror frag freak show :)

I was searching the right mode for my SPS during several months...

In March, 2016 I started using SPS AB+ mode, and my corals are getting better :)

The whole trouble is that we don’t notice the years slipping by,
acra_bluecrown_1203_zpsv1grxomq.jpg

The heck with the years, we don’t notice everything changing.
acra_bluecrown_0205_zpsizhwz6wi.jpg

We know that everything changes, we’re taught from childhood that everything changes, and we’ve seen everything change with our own eyes many a time,

acra_bluecrown_1106_zps8ikcu1ru.jpg

yet we’re totally incapable of recognizing the moment when the change comes or else we look for the change in the wrong place (c)

Unfortunately one of my favorite fish Acreichthys tomentosus jumped out from tank :( Acreichthys has done a great job for Kakitsubata reef and looked after aiptasia population.

Hi!

During the last month I've been fighting the dinoflagellates, it is very powerful and ruthless enemy.

I am lucky that I found only Prorocentrales. Some photos.

I decided to use polypropylene 5 micron filter in SUMP for cleaning water. It is very effective way to lower dinoflagellate population, the most effective time is night hours. Then I cleaned my sand and rocks, added phytoplankton (nannochloropsis) that cultivated at home farm.

Phyto and zooplankton successfully beat dinoflagellate. Also I increased the level of nitrates to 5-10 ppm.

Today I have the balance in my system, the sand and rocks are clean, but unfortunately dinoflagellate toxin bleached the setosa and SSC frags ...

That's all, it's going to be okay :)

Thank you for your attention!
Have a good day!

Hi Andrey,
Sad to hear that, but I'm sure your corals will recover fast.
A great news that Kakitsubata won the battle !
