Steve, that one looks very similar in terms of the area immediately around the mouth. Mine also have yellow mixed in with the orange/red on the rest of the oral disk.

I hope it does looks like yours in the future as I am #19 on your list :hammer: It is surely a nice piece... I have the right at the bottom like 30" down. I should move them to the top u think?

I have mine about 18" beneath a 150W Phoenix. You can move yours up maybe to around 24" and see what happens. I am thinking about moving mine down a bit just to experiment.

I would try to frag out the individual polyps if you can. Just use a sharp blade and cut around the ones you want. Good luck.

Thanks Kenny, quick question after slicing around the polyp do I cut it off of the rock as close to the rock as possible???I have never fragged that way and if so do I attach the polyp with super glue gel to the disk or let it attach itself like a ricordea.

You want to cut off some of the substrate also if you can then glue them down with super glue gel. I always thought that the less the actual polyps touch the glue, the better for the corals. Good luck.

I'm going to cut it up tonight....I would say that this is going to be a project. Pictures soon to follow.....The polyps are packed together!!!!.....efishnsea
