Kessil electrical smell

Have a new Kessil A80 on my 10g AIO. Noticing a hot electronic smell from it. It’s not hot or smoking. Is this normal break in because of the no fan approach?

Paint or coating burn off. Let it run in a safe spot for a hour or 2. Then give it the sniff test. Btw I did not notice it w mine. Good luck

Thanks, it’s been running a couple hours a day the last couple days. It’s not hot or making a noise. Hopefully that’s it.
