Hello,
I have a Klir 7 and I'm fairly happy with it, except for one little problem. Roughly once per week, it will run way too long. Often for more than 60 seconds and obviously the concern here is the wasted fleece roll. After I turn it off and back on - it stops. I've tried several things, including:
1.) I Made sure that the optical sensor tip was vertical (good suggestion from another thread).
2.) I cleaned the sensor.
3.) I replaced the optical sensor and the controller (Customer support was super supportive and shipped me these rapidly).
My current hack:
I used my apex + EB832 to turn a plug on for 30 seconds every 30 minutes. This is a great workaround as it has stopped my roller from wasting fleece. However, it now causes two more problems:
1.) It beeps loudly every time it turns on. It's now not on long enough to warn me that I'm out.
2.) After a heavy feeding, water may get past the fleece roller until it turns on.
Any suggestions?
