Layer of scum on water

Hi looking for advice i keep getting a very thin layer of scum on top of saltwater aquarium, I a trying to remove it have tried with small net but the net is not fine enough to pick up the small
particles any ideas advise please

It is due to lack of surface area movement. Water needs to be forced to overflow.
If no overflow, aim a powerhead towards , not at the water surface and also a hang on back power filter which will circulate on the surface

It is also due to organics/nutrients in the water most likely from feeding. Are you running a protein skimmer? If not, that would be why you are getting the buildup.
