I got some new torch corals and had to place them on the sand bed (to acclimate). My leather coral was a few inches away from the torch and I made sure that the tentacles were far away from the leather. I thought he was sufficiently far away (probably not
). He's currently closed up and shows some goo-ey fuzzy thing in one spot. I've moved him up on the lower layer of rocks for now. Based on the pics,
1. Does it look like a coral sting or other potential disease?
2. Should I treat him (coral revive or something) , leave him be (let it heal by itself) or remove (some other sort of infection) ?
My tank is fairly new with just a few corals. No critters/fishes.
