I recently added two leather corals - first day both opened up really nice and I adjusted flow for medium movement. After day two - one of them would not extend and has stayed closed up - first pic. I run 2 - Kessil A360x - I had the lights set to ramp up to 50% intensity for about 7 hours and ramp back down. I asked the guy at LFS if I needed to acclimate them- he said no they are already used to the lighting. With the first one not extending- I watched BRS Kessil A360 video that recommends- clear -20, int-70% violet-100% and red at 10%. Only to come home and fine the second one looking like some dried it out and put it back in the tank. Is either of these in trouble? Last night turned the int back down to 40% thinking 70% was too much. Also tested water… picture of results below. The first one might not be opening due to “Waxing” but not sure how to know if it is…

Leathers can take a couple weeks to settle.
