What lighting were you using?
I was using a power compact light with 65K daylight bulbs. The refuge was on a reverse day/night cycle from the display. On my new build I am planning to use outdoor LED flood lights that are 100 watt 6000-6500K for the refuge.

The last should was not of the macros but of my DIY acclamation box.
But you get a idea of the macros tank.
Post a better FTS soon.

Sorry, no pics my stupid phone won't post them. Am going to try to go thru uTube.

Yeah Macros are underrated IMHO. It's a bit different reefing with them as you have to have nutrients for them but not to much. I stated out with alot of macros from the get go like 10+ lost alot tank was to new even tho it had po4/ no3

Go to: http://www.live-plants.com. (Gulf Costal Plants). They have a good selection & great prices!

This is where I got my macro. They have some great stuff and give you a ton of it. It was very cold when they shipped to me and it wasn't well expedited. I was sad that all the amphipods and stars died, but the algae did fine.

I highly recommend them, especially at their current pricing.

These are pics right after I dropped the algae in my seahorse display refugium.

I should point out that the dragon's breath was already in there and there are a few gorgonians, a blueberry seafan, and some frags of GSP in there as well.

Nice colors there @jsbull! I have been checking the site above but there are out of stock :(

Thanks! They still have everything I picked up. Just ordered some cotton candy macro from them too.

Here are some close ups once everything opened up.

Thanks! I have a Radion XR15 on the seahorse side. XR 30w's on my DT.

It's all plumbed together as one system.

I just placed an order of Red sampler algae and Hypnea pannosa. I will place these two at the bottom too with a360 Kessil. Hope it will be ok, what do you think?

I am no expert on macro, not yet anyway. This is my first run at anything other than dragon's breath and chaeto.

It all seems pretty hardy though.
