The third and last frag tank (for now) to complete the new 550 gallon System.
Custom 48x24x16 frag tank built by CDA with all starfire slides, vertical seam reinforcement, reinforced starboard bottom and external modular marine overflow. Still in transit which is taking forever and should had been here this week.

Here is my newest project. Picked this tank up for only $400. It’s 8 ft by 2 ft by 10 in. I am putting a top brace on it now and will be installing a corner overflow box. I am wanting the water to drain out the bottom of the tank instead of a overflow box hanging on the side of the tank. It’s 1/2 in acrylic. I bought the 3 in pieces for the top eurobracing and @SweetReefOH helped me out with installing it. Reefing buddies are always a blessing. I currently have a 7 ft frag tank tied in with my main display that I am quickly out growing so this tank came along at a perfect time and for a perfect price

Love dimensions on this tank. Is it set up yet? Pretty much identical to the Aqua Japan 60's I ordered. Only difference is ghost backflow on mine.
Really looking forward to the depth and footprint in these tanks. What kind of return/returns did you go with and what do you have moving water inside the tank?
On Edit i just realized yours is 48 long. Mine are 36 long.

Somehow stopped getting notification on this thread. When I found it again, it dropped me on page one. -- started in 2009.

Interesting that in all the early photos, the light source was always halides. I am barely getting by without a chiller these days running with T5 hybrid lights. Were chillers mandatory back in halide days?

And I thought I packed things tightly. I think you win the award for most frags per gallon. Congratulations! Looks great!
