I picked up a few new fish on my last visit to my LFS... Thought I would share some pics with you all...

Here is my new Spotted Hawkfish...

I happened to catch this shot with the macro lens while shooting corals for the Nov POTM contest... Love how it caught the tiny points on the tips of the dorsal spines.

Not sure if this is going to come through on the site, but if you look under the eye on the right in the photo, you can see the little feathery tips whatever that fin part is called.. lol

cool fish but I'm more interested in the camera that was used for the image :winking-face:

I use a Cannon Eos Rebel t7. Pretty much an entry level body I got in a kit from Amazon a couple years ago. The lens I used for that shot is the EF 100mm F2.8.

I wouldn't normally use that lens for a fish picture, but he just happened to swim and park in front of me so how could I not at least try? lol
