I was wondering that too about he comparison.
I've read to much positive comments and seen enough good results with ATI bulbs, so that was a no brainer to me.
Still hope some one chime in who have used or seen both T5 in action.

They’re basically the same bulb. In the pic below there’s 3 blue bulbs together. The 1st is the KZ Super Blue, followed by 2 ATI B+. The KZ might be a hint darker. Maybe. It’s almost identical to the ATI B+.

What bulb combination are you running? Love the purple look!

Here are some colors for you. Using a Aquactinics Constellation 14 x 39w ATI bulbs. I love the T-5's but eventually may go to LED's once the technology gets a little better.












This Reeftech Starburst Cap looks much better in person. The orange washes out with the camera.

Love them! Can you give more info on your lighting configuration and tank params?

Thanks glad you like it. I use 6 blue plus and 2 actinics. Also have 2 led bars Reefbrite HO , from and back.
I just test for ALk 7-7.5 and phosphate @ 0.08

Anybody else out there with T5 systems? I am about to switch out my black boxes to a 6x80W LET Retro kit with a 50/50 mix of Blue+ and Coral+. Thanks to a lot of hobbyists pointing me in the right direction.

Would love to see some FTS of T5 tanks out there.

No FTS, but shamless video plug of my tank. IMO T5s are the best lighting choice for SPS colony health.

Yes, that’s a Humilis. Very cool piece and brightest coral in my tank
