I’ve been in and out of the tank game for 15 years. I am getting my feet wet after 2 years out. Boy things have gotten complicated.
I always used to “dim” led lights for target feeding; turn off T5s when they were still popular. I watch YouTube videos and nobody seems to dim their lights while target or broadcast feeding and just let their schedule run.
I get polyps extend at night. I just don’t know if there is much of an advantage with clicking the feed mode button on AI prime to get the corals “ready” when I’m dropping polyp booster in and they look like their dying for a meal.
Am I overthinking this? Are the feed modes on our fancy new lights for the corals or atheistically pleasing for us coral heads?
