Guys this pocilipora is a very fast grower, and a very beautiful piece.

I got one of these from Ann about 16 months ago. It was about as seen here when I got it.. about the size of the frag plug. Since then it has become a beautiful colony! The piece I accidently broke off and just stuck in a hole in the rocks has also blossomed into a very nice colony. You can't go wrong with this guy.
I'm even more excited now! Hopefully ours takes off!

I keep mine on the sand bed. I did cut the stem off the pug and glue the plug disk to a rock. Decent flow level where it is placed and light is.. well what you get at the sand bed.

As long as you keep parameters stable, it will grow like a weed...

I'm so scared to try an acro, but Bill Murray is beckoning so sweetly. How's that one for a first acropora?

Wow, do you have that directly in the sand? If so, I have the perfect spot for the piece I just ordered!
As I said, I cut the stem off the plug and glued the disk to a small rock. Basically it is as directly on the sand as it can be.

Keep in mind. My tank is 135G. Depth is 22 inches. Your results may vary as limits of your tank and lighting dictate.
