Does anyone know a cheap way to dose for magnesium? I have a 340 gallon reef and just figured that it would take over $500 using the stuff at my LFS. Any suggestions? They told me at my LFS about magnesium flakes. Where do I get those?

I use Brightwell aquatics Magnesium-P (it's a powder). I only dose Mag when I am doing water changes. I always make my water change water 1500 Mag

Take a look here to see what concentrations to use and how to mix it up. It will be cloudy after mixing and will settle out in the jug. Just shake it up to use.
