i was just wondering if its okay to use regular type magnets in the tank? it seems a lot of people use some sort of special type magnets... i was wondering if there is a reason. i was wondering because of the diy frag rack i am making.
thanks

The saltwater will break down the magnets which is no good I believe...there are coated magnets sold all over the web as well as ebay.

okay thanks for the info. i guess i will keep it for next time. we ended up just doing an over the side hanger. it was easier, didnt cost any more and didnt have to wait for the magnets. so we will see how this one works. thanks again!
