I'd like to dose both phosphate and ammonia with a single dosing pump. Can they be mixed?
On a related note, I saw in another post that a solution of NH4Cl will outgas NH3. Any idea how fast this happens? I'm currently mixing 12 g NH4Cl in 4 liters of RODI and dosing 60 ml/day so 4 liters lasts about 2 months. My Nitrate levels are too low, and I'm wondering if I'm loosing NH3 to the air. My alk is also rising (no coral, no alk dosing), and NH4Cl is supposed to reduce alk, so I'm wondering if that's another piece of evidence that I've lost my NH3 to the air. My container is fairly tight, but not so tight that I draw a vacuum when dosing. The lid screws on tight and the rigid tubing is a tight fit.
