SCIENTIFIC NAME - Melacanthus mossambicus

COMMON NAME - Mozambique Fang Blenny

SIZE - 3.9" (10 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 20 US Gal. (76 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied diet, finely chopped crustacean flesh, Mysid shrimp, vitamin enriched Brine shrimp, frozen preparations for herbivores (natural prey small crustaceans).

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Yes.

CAPTIVE CARE - Has venomous fangs that will be used if attacked, other fish do not bother it, nor does it bother others in the tank, harassed by damsels and other aggressive fish, if ingested by a predator it will bite the inside of the predators mouth and usually be spit out.
