Very informative, thank you for posting that!There are over 350 species that belongs to the genus of Eunice. The ones that have the giant jaws specifically referred to as the Bobbit Worm, these are from the Indo Pacific region. The name was given by Dr. Terry Gosliner/Gary Williams and put into their book back in 1996 when he captured and photographed one in the wild.

So in my mind until the 350 species are gone through with a fine tooth comb, we are going to continue to refer to most all Eunice sp. as a Bobbit Worm. To me, thats fine. We commonly generalize many kinds of animals in this hobby, and thats how I see Bobbit.
