i guess your new tank was setup 4 months before the switch. i though it would throw off the biological system if you dont keep some of your rock and the old water with the transition.

I added fish to the tank first... fed heavily, also seeded the tank with photo and pods and as much live bacteria as I felt was adequate

Well after a bout of Dinoflagelates or a prolonged cycle... my tank is back on track...
