I love the 300dd tank... I think I remember seeing your old tank up for sale.... Anyway both your Los tank and your new tank look great... But are you really using a swing arm hydrometer? I killed everything in my first tank because of those. No issues for years but it started to drift off accurate and I fried all their little brains with crazy high salt... Well does not matter... You obvious are doing something right...

Great looking tank... Are you still happy with the Kessils? Would you use them again? I'm gathering parts for a 300 myself and I'm leaning towards the Kessils.

Im loving my lights.i was thinking about adding 2-250 halides to get better growth and color ,but then i was thinking before i do this let me get my nitrates down abit and see if sps start to color back up .i then addrd a koralin nitrate reactor to my system and my nitrates are now at 5ppm .my sps colors look better and ive relized i dont need more lighting it was more my nitrates causing the sps colors to be a little off .i guess the easyest thing to blame is the lights right away ...

Question on how you built the stand/sheet rocked the wall - did you attach the Sheetrock to the front of the stand or is there a few inches between the from of the tank and the wall?

No sheetrock touches the tank .if ur looking from the front there would be about an inch clearance around the tank .then theres a the frame that can come off and that is larger enough so it covers the 1" gap

Ok, thanks...trying to decide if I want to build the wall and snug the tank up to that, creating a 4" separation, that I would then trim out or if I wanted it more flush
