I did ask my kid to remind me to go to the store after work….she asked what time does work end? I said 2:30….she then said ok so 4:30 my time (she is with her dad right now) and she did actually text me at 2:30 to remind me to go to the store….14 yr olds are the new adult

I almost died last week from a rattle snake. I was driving my sideXside and one of the kids got hit by a bee, so I stopped quick, jumped out ran over, saved kid from already stunned bee, go to jump back in and notice one of the sticks I just stepped on was slithering away. It was a timber rattler, about 2' long, and didn't rattle at me at all. I don't know if I injured it by stepping on it or maybe my hubs ran it over with the 4-wheeler or maybe I ran it over, but it slithered quietly under a tree in a hole. I definitely could have been bit. Wearing running shoes and shorts so not protected at all.

I'm looking now before I hop out.

I was dove hunting with my daughter two years ago and thought I heard a cicada buzz. My daughter yells "Snake, Dad!" I turned around and realized it wasn't a cicada. I stepped right over a coiled Mohave Rattlesnake. My daughter decided to walk around it instead.

Naw just wanted to get away. 99% of rattle snake bites aren't fatal that's the good news.
