Hello i have been cycling my tank for 2 weeks now and my levels have been like this for about a week i upped water temperature to 86 because i heard that is speeds up the process about 4 days ago and nothing has happened. it also might be important that i did dry rock and dry sand because I didn’t know the advantages and thought they were just more expensive. Am i cooked?

Welcome to R2R!

Can you give us a brief summary of what products you have used in your cycle, and how long ago you started?

With dry rock and sand, what did you use to get a cycle started?

You have nitrite... your cycling is rolling, just not as fast as you want it to be.
Nitrite bacteria just takes rediculously long compared to Ammonia bacteria.

+1 to testing nitrates... API tests will give false nitrite readings if nitrate is present.

If nitrate is present, cycling is complete.
