I have a jebao croos flow in my reefer 350 and pushes a ton but I need something on opposite side. Thinking a mp40 but cost is way higher for simply no wires inside tank. I like jebao and other cheats but I hate wires in tank. So are the mp40s really worth the extra cost or should I just tough it out on wires

No, they are not worth it a the current price. The last one I bought, I waited until I found it on sale.

If you REALLY don't want wires in the tank then you should get one

For that price you’d think they’d last longer
Nothing is made to last these days.
I bet I could still find a 1960s Kelvinator refrigerator in a garage still working today while the latest needs replacing after 10 years.

Here is mine, but she is a quality GE. Still running strong.

Pick up some nice Tunze pumps. Not cheap but excellent quality.

I have 2 6040 tunze pumps and a tunze return. Just picked up a new tunze 6065 off eBay for $99. I don’t like wires but can’t justify the premium especially for something that quality wise too many people complain about.

You were one of my inspirations for going Tunze and scrubbing my tank of MP10s and Nero 3s. I replaced with 6095s. Couldn't be happier.
Glad you are happy with you Tunze. I assume from your post that you know that I have both and may be biased towards the more quality product.

I just bought and installed my Red Sea reef wave gyre the other day. I like it so far. Other than that I do really like my sicce xstreams but some people find them less than desirable for how much the protrude into the tank.. I don’t mind it. Apps on both products have been great too.

I have not tried the Red Sea gyres yet. Lots of great options out there.
