No one? anyone do any home remodeling at all (not necessarily related to a tank) and had to have an engineer in to size a beam?
You could use steel instead what floor are you putting it on IE is there a basement be low it. You can build a frame that goes from floor to ceiling in the basement right under it and you can use heave bolts to put together instead,of welding much cheaper and can be removed should you want to move tank

Come to think about it you can do the same with 4x4s or if you are paranoid use 4x6 and lag bolts that would disperse the weight without redoing the structure of your house

I was posting an engineer then I went back and looked at the rest of the thread and saw this is super old. So never mind.
