Would be pretty neat to have a TDS meter that can communicate with the apex for better stability of your RO/DI unit.

an use example would be to shut off/on the solenoid from the RO/DI unit based on the TDS reading.

i would like to know the water quality existing my RO/DI unit if my system is set to automatically top off reservoirs and such from anywhere and have confidence that nothing will go wrong in relation to the water.

let me know what y’all think? Good or bad idea?

It's infrequent enough I don't bother and just check it manually every couple months.

You can do it now with a spillover cup a PM2 and a conductivity probe.

Oh! really? I didn’t know the salinity probe could act as a TDS of some sort. Maybe I’m mixing it up haha
The port in the head unit can't, but a PM2 can. The head unit can only do 0-45ppt +-0.1ppt. The PM2 module has extended range options that allow 0-850uS/cm (about 720ppm top range) +-1uS/cm.
