i just recently started puting coral in to my tank and idk what i should do for the lights and how far to have them above im going to have mostly zoan i have 8 bulb 54 watt 48” bulb

yes thier are 8 of them

For Zoanthids that will be more than plenty and probably some LPS corals up on the rocks. Only real way to know is rent a PAR meter and check different areas of the tank. I think I would add more blue in there personally but that is just me.
