I received a new orange fin tomini today and it looks like it has a scratch on its side. It is currently in qt and I would like to be proactive with it in case it might get infected. should I treat the water with any antibiotics while it is in qt? what would you recommend?
thanks
Jeff

A pic under white lighting would be helpful with assessment. Most scratches will heal on their own as saltwater fish generally heal quickly. In the event however it would become infected, seachem Kanaplex is a good one to have on hand
