Hey, I just moved to Las Vegas from the Bay Area and moved my 375gal tank with me. Anyone can recommend the following:

Scratch removal & Polish Tank
Build a Steel Stand

I brought all my live stock with me and currently housed in a 75gal tank.

Thanks.

Welcome! Is the tank acrylic or glass?

Let's see if we can get some more input on the tank polishing and stand building.

My name is Jacob Schelebo, and I am the President of the Las Vegas Marine Aquarium Society : LVMAS.com / LVMAS.org / Facebook.com/groups/vegasreefs

we have a few people that are able to do stands, in both steel and wood.

Welcome aboard, Leeshw!

I know that acrylic tanks can be buffed and polished back to crystal clarity - but I've never owned one, so haven't done it myself. Good luck with yours, and feel free to start a build thread to document the process!

Thanks All for the warm Welcome. The tank is currently empty sitting in the Garage. There are light to medium scratches. Its a peninsula tank made by James at Envision Acrylics.

Thanks.

I think there are a few people in town with buffers. You'd probably have to ask around on the facebeast groups. Check into Aquatic treasures, Pisces, and blue reef as well.

Thanks. I am planning to pay a visit to those 3 LFS. What is a facebeast group?

Those are groups on Facebeast. Specifically lvmas, sin city reefers marketplace, and sin city reefers (or something similar, they changed the name awhile back because weed folks kept joining.)

Where are you in the valley?

I'm in Summerlin. I went to Blue Reef Aquatics today and they don't seem to know anyone besides ATM that could remove scratches and polish the tank.

Also, the root that you posted this thread under, Las Vegas Valley Reefers, is no more. Las Vegas Marine Aquarium Society is the active club.
