Hello fellow reefers! i have recently found an interest in this hobby and I hope you guys can give me tips and help me through my build. I am going to get a 125g reef ready tank I have heard bigger is better, I have found the sump I am going to use and i have looked at some skimmers but i still don't know which one will be the best for me i hope you guys can help me. I also don't know which light fixture I should get please help me out thank you hope to get to know all you guys better while i do my build.

Welcome to R2R!!! If you're a bit handy you could always build a sumo from another tank like a 40 breeder. As far as lights it's going to be personal preference. I personally like t5s while other prefer leds. Take a look around at some tank threads and find some tanks you like and see what lighting there are running to give you an idea of what you may prefer.
