Can someone please help tell me if this is ich or some other disease or nothing to worry about. Fish is about 2 weeks new to my tank, all the other fish are looking good, the powder blue is eating fine.

Any suggestions please....

Powder and Hippo Tangs are ich magnets...it is mostly due to being easily stressed in the beginning from light, people starring close to the tank, water movement to strong or pesky fish...But, if they make it through and fully acclimate to the tank, they will be very hardy, active, and beautiful...if it is eating you are good for now.

Sure looks like ich.... I’m in the same situation, and I’m on my 3rd tank transfer, and I’m crossing my fingers that it makes it through, and thank goodness it’s eating like a pig...

You are going to need to put all of your fish into QT and treat with copper, chelated copper is better. Secondly you need to let your tank go fallow for 76 days to eradicate ich from your tank.
