Both the 250 and 500 use a corrugated (32mm / 1.25” ID) inlet hose with a PVC universal connector

Doesn’t look like this was answered but if I already have the hose hookup for the 500 will the same connector on the hose hookup on the side of the 250 unit?

Red Sea would not respond to any of my questions on YouTube or R2R (the only question on the threads they wouldn’t answer) so I called their sales line for North America. Short answer is “no”. They don’t have any plans for a 90 degree for the larger mats in the works. Looks like it’s DIY for the foreseeable future since the larger unit piping won’t fit into the smaller elbow that they offer for the 250 version.
