Hi all, as of recently I picked up a 160gallon tank and have it setup ready to rock and roll...my plan is to buy aragonite not aragalive(save some money), and cycle with dr Tim's and stability as I had great success with stability on my last 110gal I set up, cycling in less than 30 days-day 24 showed zero nitrite.

I have a smaller 15 gallon I plan on taking down, this tank has established liverock, and caribsea live sand and has just recently finished cycling. It has never been exposed to fish waste...

My question is, will there be any negative effects if I were to use this sand without rinsing it in my bigger tank to help seed the aragonite? I do not plan on using the rocks from the system I do not think. Rocks were cycled from LFS.

I upgraded tanks and no longer need the 15, and have set up a different hospital/quar tanks.
